What is Dong Fang Mei Ren Tea?
Dong Fang Mei Ren literally means Oriental Beauty, it is also called Peng Feng Tea, because of its tea buds with obvious pekoe, it is called Bai Hao oolong tea. It is the oolong tea with the heaviest fermentation level that could be 60%-85%. The tea has a characteristic aroma of mature fruits and honey.
The appearance of Oriental Beauty Tea is elegant, subtle, and graceful. Upon close observation, it comes in five colors: red, yellow, white, green, and brown. It resembles the flying fairy wearing colorful feathers in the Dunhuang frescoes, so people also call her "Five-color tea".
Why is it called Dong Fang Mei Ren?

Dong Fang Mei Ren tea is originally called Peng Feng Tea, Peng Feng means boasting.
According to the legend, in early time there was a tea farmer due to the tea garden infestation, he was unwilling to lose, and chose to sell in the city, unexpectedly because of the special flavor, the tea was popular, after returning to the township to mention this matter, he was thought as boasting since then the name of Peng Feng Tea spread like wildfire.
It is also said that a hundred years ago, British tea merchants presented the Peng Feng Tea to Queen Victoria of the UK. After brewing, the tea looks gorgeous, just like a beautiful woman dancing in a crystal cup. After tasting the tea, the queen praised it and gave it the name "Oriental beauty".
How is the Tea Garden?
Dong Fang Mei Ren Tea comes from the ecological tea garden in Hsinchu County. It is cultivated in the hilly areas of Hsinchu, between 300 and 800 meters above sea level, where there are sufficient sunlight and humidity.

Brew in Chinese Gongfu Way:
Serving Size: 3g
Water: 150ml with temperature 80℃-85℃ that lower than used for other oolong tea.
5 steeps: rinse, 30s, 50s, 70s, 90s, 120s.
Rinse time around 5s.
