What is Pu erh tea Xiao Tuo Cha Glutinous Rice Fragrance?
Pu erh tea a specially fermented form of tea produced in Yunnan province, China and named after pu erh city. It is post-fermented tea, so it can be a long storage and get better taste.
The shown pu erh tea is ripe pu erh mixed with glutinous rice fragrance leaves which is a plant and its leaves full of the fragrance like glutinous rice, a specialty in Yunnan. Each piece is approx 5-6g.
How to make Pu erh tea Xiao Tuo Cha?
Porcelain gaiwan or yixing clay teapot is suggested for brewing.
200ml water with temperature above 95℃
8 steeps: rinse, 15s, 20s, 25s, 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s, 80s
It can also be brewed for iced tea. When get tea soup stay for 1 minutes the add ice directly.
